What You'll Do
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons to assess and diagnose musculoskeletal conditions
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop treatment plans under supervision
- Assist during surgical procedures and provide pre- and post-op patient management
- Order, review, and interpret diagnostic and imaging studies
- Conduct orthopedic-related procedures, including joint injections and office procedures
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and recovery expectations
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in medical records
- Participate in rotational call coverage as assigned
- Contribute to quality improvement and team initiatives in a hospital and clinical setting
What You Need
Required: - Valid PA-C license in Vermont or ability to obtain one
- Minimum 1 year of experience in orthopedics or surgical care
- Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred: - Experience with surgical assist duties
- Familiarity with imaging review and interpretation
