What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons to assess and diagnose musculoskeletal conditions
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop treatment plans under supervision
  • Assist during surgical procedures and provide pre- and post-op patient management
  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic and imaging studies
  • Conduct orthopedic-related procedures, including joint injections and office procedures
  • Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and recovery expectations
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in medical records
  • Participate in rotational call coverage as assigned
  • Contribute to quality improvement and team initiatives in a hospital and clinical setting
What You Need
Required:
  • Valid PA-C license in Vermont or ability to obtain one
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in orthopedics or surgical care
  • Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred:
  • Experience with surgical assist duties
  • Familiarity with imaging review and interpretation
