The Work You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines
- Produce precision-machined parts to print and specification
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools to verify quality
- Adjust offsets and machine settings as needed
- Monitor production and maintain part consistency
- Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments
- Support daily shop operations alongside a small, collaborative team
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Machines, Controls & Inspection Tools
You'll work with equipment such as:
- Machines: Haas CNC mills and lathes
- Controls: Haas controls
- Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, and standard precision measuring equipment
Materials You'll Work With
Materials may include:
- Aluminum
- Steel
- Stainless Steel
- General production materials depending on customer requirements
What We're Looking ForRequired
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work in a team-oriented shop environment
- Comfortable lifting 30-40 pounds regularly
- Desire to produce quality work and continue learning
Preferred
- Previous CNC machining experience
- Experience setting up or operating CNC mills and/or lathes
- Familiarity with Haas controls
- Ability to read blueprints and use inspection tools
