Internal Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician for outpatient locum coverage in California. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule in a collaborative urgent care / primary care clinic setting.

Assignment Details:

• Start: June 2026
• 13-week assignment
• Outpatient clinic coverage

Schedule:

• Monday Friday
• 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• No call
• Day shifts only

Practice Setting:

• Outpatient urgent care / primary care clinic
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Physician and APP support onsite
• EMR: NextGen

Work Details:

• Patient volume: patients/day
• Primary care-focused coverage

Procedures Include:

• PAPs
• Cryotherapy
• Punch biopsies
• Simple wound care
• Joint injections (optional for some providers)
• Toenail removal
• Birth control prescribing

Requirements:

• MD/DO Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active California license required
