New Ophthalmology Physician Locums Job in Texas Great Location Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pmJackson and Coker is partnered with one of our outstanding clients in Texas in search of a highly skilled Ophthalmologist (Glaucoma specialist) to assist with their weekday coverage needs starting this September + ongoing.
Details/Requirements for Assignment :" Active Texas license
" Board Certified required
" Glaucoma fellowship is mandatory
" Ability to see clinic patients, perform clinic lasers/procedures, and surgical cases.
" Laser procedures: peripheral iridotomies, SLT's, ALT's
" Surgical procedures: Trabeculectomy, Tube Shunts, Blebs, etc.
" Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
" Starts Sept/Oct 2026
" Seeking candidates with a 1-2 week minimum available every month
" Average of 30 patients per day
" 14 Ophthalmologists / 6 Optometrists
" No call or weekends (unless severe weather which is rare)
" EMR: EPIC
