Our client, a leading organization in the title insurance and commercial real estate services space, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join its team(link removed) This role offers the opportunity to work on complex commercial real estate transactions, providing underwriting guidance, risk assessment, and strategic support to internal stakeholders and clients across the country.

key role in evaluating risk, guiding transaction structure, and ensuring compliance with title underwriting standards and applicable regulations.
Candidate Profile
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school required.
- Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing.
- 3-6+ years of substantive experience in advising clients on 1031 exchanges, opportunity zone and other tax issues
- Must be familiar with applicable commercial real estate law, including federal and state regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex real estate, tax, and financial concepts to sophisticated investors and professional advisors
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and externally, with clients and others.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage significant transaction volume, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow up in a timely manner.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Effective communicator with strong negotiation skills, who can deliver guidance with clarity, professionalism, tact, and diplomacy.
- Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, with the ability to assess risk and provide practical solutions.
- Collaborative mindset with ability to act decisively when needed.
What Youll Do
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on commercial real estate, and maintain up-to-date understanding of 1031 exchange-related market and regulatory developments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support efficient and successful transaction execution.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $200,000 $300,000+ This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements, qualifications, and geographic location.
