Job Summary Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Medical Care/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to a variety of stepdown patients with complex medical needs.
Manage titratable drips including Nitroglycerine, Neo, and Cardene.
Interpret and monitor tele strips for all patients.
Collaborate with charge nurse and house supervisor for optimal staffing and patient care.
Adhere to the unit's dress code and maintain professional appearance.
Participate in ongoing education and unit-specific orientation.
Qualifications
Active RN license in the state of West Virginia.
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Experience with stepdown patient populations and common diagnoses.
Ability to titrate designated drips per unit protocol.
Proficiency with EPIC charting system.
BSN preferred, but not required.
