Employment Type: TravelJob Summary: Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse (RN) position available in Thornton, Colorado. This travel opportunity is for night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves providing care to obstetric patients within a busy labor and delivery unit of a healthcare provider. Job Details:
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) all certifications required for the role.
Education and Experience: A minimum of one year of current acute care hospital labor and delivery RN experience.
Location: Thornton, Colorado.
Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Certifications listed above, current RN license, previous experience in obstetric care in a hospital setting, and minimum one year of relevant experience.
Additional Information: Candidates without the specified skills and experience will not be considered. Prior Meditech experience and postpartum care experience are highly preferred and considered a plus. The unit features new equipment, a competitive environment, and a well-tenured staff of 60, including charge RNs and staff RNs. Flexibility and adaptability are valued traits.
