Job Description


Our client is a well-established contract manufacturer producing products using sub-fractional horsepower motors. They have facilities in Wisconsin and China and are seeking an experience Sr. Sales Engineer to drive sales growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the manufacturing landscape, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in sales management. You will report to the president of the company.

What you will be doing:


Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence


Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.


Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, adjusting strategies accordingly.


Collaboration: Work closely with production, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects.


Reporting: Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management.



What they are looking for:



  • 5+ years of technical sales for sub-fractional horsepower motors, electrics, wire harness, preferably in contract manufacturing

  • Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with customers (i.e. call instead of email, and get out and visit prospects)

  • Self-motivated and able to find and exploit the market, with Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • The greater your technical academics the better. An engineering degree would be excellent.

  • Up to 25% of travel will be needed nationally.
