Job Description

Adecco is hiring immediately for Mechanical Assemblers with our client in Hollister, CA. While working as a Mechanical Assembler for Adecco, you will earn $20.00-$22.00/hour.

In this role, you will perform general, electronic, and mechanical assembly operations on components and subassemblies while following drawings, schematics, visual aids, and written or verbal instructions. Tasks include production assembly, PCB loading, soldering to IPC standards, handling and measuring inert and energetic materials with balances, calipers, and presses, assisting with equipment setup, and performing precision tasks under microscopes. Work is completed under direct supervision with participation in on the job training and offsite certification courses. All activities must adhere to ESD and explosive area safety protocols, with other duties assigned.

Responsibilities General Assembly

Perform production assembly on components and subassemblies

Use visual aids, drawings, schematics, and instructions to assemble, modify, re work, or re assemble units

Receive detailed instructions for new tasks and assignments

Attend offsite training to maintain necessary certifications

Participate in continuous improvement activities

Electronic Assembly

Hand load PCB assemblies using schematics and visual aids

Identify electronic component values and follow IPC A 610 standards

Perform soldering, including fine pitch work

Execute microscope based soldering and anomaly repair

Maintain current IPC J STD and IPC A 610 certifications

Apply ESD prevention practices consistently

Mechanical Assembly

Weigh and press inert and energetic materials

Set up and operate analytical balances and powder press equipment

Conduct inert assembly operations

Perform cabling, potting, tinning, and basic soldering tasks

Install subassemblies and perform minor equipment setups

Lift up to 50 lbs. and work safely within explosive handling environments

Requirements: Education

High School Diploma or GED required

Experience

1-2 years of hands on assembly or manufacturing experience required

Skills

Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Detail oriented with reliable attendance

Ability to read and follow written instructions, drawings, and schematics

Strong mechanical aptitude, dexterity, and fine motor skills

Ability to plan, execute, and complete tasks independently

Proficient with hand tools; accurate use of calipers; soldering preferred

Comfortable working in high precision and explosive handling environments, following strict safety guidelines

Self starter with strong follow through

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Use of fine motor skills for precision work

Available Schedules: Friday-Sunday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM OR Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Opportunities for overtime vary per shift

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
