Key Qualifications:Active, unencumbered RN licenseMinimum of 1 year experience in a PACU or similar post-anesthesia care settingStrong assessment and monitoring skills for post-operative patientsProficiency in critical thinking, rapid response, and patient stabilizationBLS and ACLS certifications (current and required)Excellent communication and patient education abilitiesAbility to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Primary Responsibilities:Monitor patients emerging from anesthesia, ensuring airway safety, hemodynamic stability, and pain controlConduct frequent patient assessments and documentation during recoveryRespond promptly to changes in patient status and implement appropriate interventionsAdminister medications and treatments as ordered by medical staffProvide clear post-surgical instructions and emotional support to patients and their familiesCollaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to facilitate smooth transitions through phases of careMaintain a clean, organized, and prepared recovery area according to infection prevention protocols If you are a dedicated RN skilled in PACU care and thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting, this contract assignment provides professional growth and the fulfillment of supporting patients at a pivotal stage in their surgical journey.
