Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Locums - West Columbia, South Carolina, CRNA Job (Willing to License)

Start Date: 8/03/2026

Assignment Details:

• Cardiac CRNA role (100% Cardiac / CT Surgery)
• Contract preference: 6 months (will consider 3 months)
• Must work full-time (no part-time or reduced schedules)
• Must be available 4 weeks per month
• 50-mile radius restriction (no local candidates)

Shift & Schedule:

• 4x10-hour shifts (40-hour work week)
• 7:00am-5:00pm
• Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday
• One evening call shift per week
• One weekend call shift approximately every 6 weeks
• Evening call is typically low volume; weekend call ranges from none to 2 call-ins

Practice Setting:

• Hospital / Medical Center
• Dedicated cardiac anesthesia team
• Level III trauma facility
• Small ECMO program (no current ECMO call-ins reported)
• No transplant cases

Case Mix:

• CABG
• Valve surgeries
• Aortic root procedures
• Pericardial windows
• Thoracic lung cases
• Laser lead extractions
• Rib plating
• 2-5 cases per day on average

EMR: Epic (highly preferred)

Requirements:

• Board Certified CRNA - Required
• Minimum 1 year cardiac anesthesia experience - Required
• Active South Carolina license or compact license - Required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS - Required
• Willing to license (if compact eligible)

Credentialing:

• Approximately 60-90 days
