As an Associate Transport Administrator, you will support a wide range of administrative functions, from maintaining vehicle and equipment records to coordinating procurement for new vehicles and mobile equipment. In this role, you'll also help ensure compliance with licensing and permitting requirements while contributing to the overall administration and success of transportation programs.ResponsibilitiesAssists other transport personnel with various internal, external, and regulatory ad hoc and pre-determined reportsAssists with the transportation of new vehicles and equipment utilizing internal and external resourcesAdministers preventive maintenance program in SAPProvides internal and external customer service by providing accurate and timely information through the department's shared mailbox responding to various requestsMaintains department intranet siteProcesses and audits signature invoices and assists with department credit card reconciliationAssists with other regulatory tasks including vehicle registration renewals and licensingRequirementsAssociate's degree in an applicable field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.Proficient with the use of personal computers including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications to gather, analyze, and model information.Communication and interpersonal skills include the ability to consult with internal and external customers regarding matters/issues which may be sensitive in nature.Ability to work with all levels of an organization including people with different styles and backgrounds; ability to present alternatives and recommendations.Knowledge of applicable company policies and procedures; applicable federal, state, and local governmental laws and regulations.
