Job Description

Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a Field Sales Manager (Eagle Ford) for an energy & emissions services equipment client based in San Antonio, Texas. Role is REMOTE (must live in the San Antonio / Eagle Ford area) with frequent travel around the area.



Base salary of $120k - $140k DOE plus commission opportunity, company vehicle allowance and benefits.


Frequent travel in the Eagle Ford / South Texas as necessary


7+ years sales experience in oil & gas upstream and midstream environmental control and production equipment and services.


Candidate should have current established oil & gas industry connections



The Field Sales Manager establishes sales relationships with existing and prospective customers through industry and product knowledge deploying a solutions-based approach. Also, achieves maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling environmental control equipment for the oil & gas upstream and midstream sectors (flares, enclosed combustors, vapor recovery units, etc.). The successful candidate will have well-established industry connections in the Eagle Ford / South Texas areas.



Role & Responsibilities:



  • Establishes and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the companys products and services.

  • Makes telephone calls, in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers at field locations.

  • Research sources for developing prospective customers information to determine their potential.

  • Self-motivated individual with a strong bias toward action.

  • Plans and organizes personal sales strategy.

  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and the potential for new products and services.

  • Supports organizational success with timely communication and coordination with other sales team members.

  • Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities and advertising and promotional trend through the reading or pertinent literature.

  • Create and maintain a focus on company HSEQ.



Requirements:



  • Bachelors degree a plus and 7+ years of professional experience (field operations & sales) in the upstream / midstream / energy services sectors required

  • 3+ years sales experience in oil & gas upstream and midstream environmental control and production equipment and services.

  • Strong current field customer network in the Eagle Ford and South Texas areas

  • Strong presentational, problem-solving, organizational and administrative skills

  • Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
