Finance Contract Specialist Hybrid Position



Up to $55,000 + Excellent Benefits in the NE USA



Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for agriculture and finance? We are seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide vital ongoing support to our cooperative members regarding financing products and services. Working under the direction of management, you will prepare loan and lease documents, administer leasing functions, and ensure seamless insurance and compliance tracking.

Key Responsibilities for this Finance Contract Specialist:


Accept customer applications, perform comprehensive reviews of loan packages, verify applicant information, and handle lease closings (including paying vendors and booking originations/terminations).


Assist in preparing customized loan documents, amendments, and subordination/intercreditor agreements. Prepare and file UCC financing statements and track satisfaction requirements.


Request and review customer documents to determine borrowing eligibility. Monitor, update, and track borrower insurance status to ensure ongoing collateral compliance.


Provide prompt, top-tier service to our farmer members by answering telephone inquiries and processing documentation in a timely manner.


Cross-train and provide backup support to the Loan Accounting position and customer service representatives to ensure uninterrupted operations.



Minimum required qualifications for this Finance Contract Specialist:


Minimum of an Associate degree required


At least 1year of experience in the agricultural leasing/lending industry


Familiarity with loan legal documentation


A Paralegal Certification is highly preferred or ability to earn one


Proficient with MS Office Suite and able to learn proprietary computer systems.


A sharp eye for detail when reviewing signed loan documents and verifying signatures.


Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and positively with various levels of the organization, vendors, and suppliers


Strong organizational skills to balance multiple tasks, maintain strict confidentiality, and hit tight deadlines


The capability to work independently while remaining a collaborative, cross-functional team player.
