Pay Range: $19.00 - $23.00/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits A premier manufacturing team in Twinsburg, Ohio that seeks an experienced Die Cast Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and precision adjustment of die cast machines and all supporting production equipment. This position offers cross-functional variety, allowing you to handle both die cast machining operations to ensure top-tier product quality and efficient output. Responsibilities Setup, adjust, and operate die cast machinery to meet established production quotas and performance standards. Operate hydraulic trim presses to remove excess metal. Manually separate gates and runners from castings as outlined in technical work instructions. Perform ongoing visual inspections of parts during the production cycle to identify defects, ensuring all components adhere to strict quality benchmarks. Keep cast conveyors completely unloaded, remove parts efficiently, and properly prep/pack finished castings for shipment or secondary operations. Accurately complete all job-related administrative tracking, including timecards, machine cards, hourly production records, quality charts, and preventative maintenance logs. Correctly identify, label, and tag processed parts according to specifications on instruction sheets. Inspect machinery daily to guarantee all safety guards and electrical interlocks are fully functional and operating correctly. Strictly adhere to workplace safety protocols, including wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE). Keep the designated work cell clean, hazard-free, and organized. Requirements High School, GED, read, write, and apply basic math skills to production tracking metrics. Capability to comprehend and act upon written directives, technical work instructions, visual displays, and verbal layouts. Sharp focus on safety compliance and visual part defect detection.
