Institutional & Retail Investment Management Full Trading Lifecycle Portfolio Construction & Rebalancing to Execution & Reporting New Digital Tooling for Portfolio Managers
- Atlanta, GA (Midtown)
- 4 Days Onsite Relocation Available
- Flextime + Unlimited PTO
- $165,000 $180,000
The Role
Sit at the intersection of investment ops and platform development supporting a wealth management platform across the full trading lifecycle, from portfolio construction and rebalancing through execution and reporting.
This is not an order-taking role. You're the bridge between business and engineering confident enough to push back when requirements aren't ready, sharp enough to know when to work around process and when to hold the line on it. How you communicate and build trust matters as much as your technical chops.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary bridge between Portfolio Managers, Financial Advisors, and engineering teams translating complex business needs into well-defined, actionable requirements
- Own the requirements process end-to-end: discovery, documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, and sign-off
- Drive testing and validation through implementation, ensuring what gets built matches what was agreed
- Strengthen and improve Agile processes where they add value and exercise judgment on when pragmatism takes precedence
- Push back on ambiguity early, build stakeholder relationships that make that pushback productive, and keep delivery moving
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years as a Technical BA, Functional Analyst, or Solutions Analyst in financial services or capital markets
- End-to-end trading lifecycle fluency: construction, optimization, trade modeling, rebalancing
- Experience across upstream/downstream systems: OMS, Analytics, Accounting, Reporting
- Knowledge of SMAs and trading lifecycle across fixed income and equities strong plus
- The ability to deliver well-defined requirements not just gather them
- Strong SQL; cloud fluency in AWS (Lambda, S3, microservices, CI/CD)
- Agile/Jira and the experience to know when process serves the work and when it doesn't
- A communicator and collaborator who earns credibility with both business and tech stakeholders
