Job Overview:

Join the anesthesia team at a leading Level I Trauma Center, as a Locum CRNA in a busy, high-acuity surgical environment. This ongoing opportunity offers a Monday Friday schedule with no call, flexible 5x8 or 4x10 hour shifts, and the chance to work alongside experienced anesthesiologists in a supervised care model.

Providers will manage a diverse caseload including trauma, neuro, thoracic, vascular, orthopedic, regional, and healthy pediatric cases across a 24+ OR facility. Candidates must hold an active Pennsylvania license, have strong all-around anesthesia experience, and be available for full-time coverage (3 4 weeks per month).

Position Highlights:

Practice Setting:
  • Inpatient hospital setting
  • Level I Trauma Center
  • High-volume surgical program
  • Supervised CRNA model
  • Supported by:
    • Anesthesiologists
    • Anesthesia Technicians
    • Surgical Care Associates (SCAs)
Patient Population:
  • Adult patients
  • Healthy pediatric patients
  • All ages treated within the facility
Case Mix:

CRNAs will provide anesthesia services for a broad range of surgical procedures, including:

  • General Surgery
  • Complex Orthopedics
  • Neurosurgery
  • Head and Spine Cases
  • Thoracic Surgery
  • Complex Vascular Cases
  • Regional Anesthesia
  • Trauma Cases
  • MitraClip Procedures
  • Watchman Procedures
  • Healthy Pediatric Cases
Not Included
  • No Obstetrics
  • No Open Heart/Cardiac Surgery
Required Clinical Skills:

Candidates should have recent experience with:

  • General Anesthesia
  • Adult and Pediatric Anesthesia
  • Trauma Cases
  • Spinal Anesthesia
  • Epidural Anesthesia
  • Regional Blocks
  • Neurosurgical Cases
  • Head and Spine Procedures
  • Thoracic Cases
  • Complex Orthopedic Cases
  • Complex Vascular Cases
  • Ventilation Management
  • Acute Volume and Blood Pressure Management
  • Central Line Placement
  • Arterial Line Placement
  • Pulmonary Artery Catheter Placement
  • Post-Operative Pain Management Techniques
Requirements: Certification
  • Current CRNA Certification required
  • Board Certification/Certification required
Licensure
  • Active Pennsylvania license required at time of submission
  • IMLC participation is acceptable where applicable
  • Providers without an active PA license will not be considered
Experience
  • Recent, relevant anesthesia experience
  • Comfortable in a busy, high-acuity hospital environment
  • Ability to work within a supervised anesthesia care model
