Coverage Needed

• 24-hour call shifts for OB and Gyn ED (no clinic or office patients)

Clinical Details

• Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
• Full scope OB/GYN
• Required Procedures: Deliveries (C-section/vaginal) and gynecological surgeries
• EMR: Cerner
• Support Staff: Dedicated Medical Assistant, Practice Manager
• Call: Physicians do not need to remain in house but must be within 20-minute response time
• No NICU
• Patients Per Day: 16-20
• Deliveries vary, monthly is about 40

Requirements

• Board Certified in OB/GYN - Highly Preferred
  • can accept BE as long as on staff at another Joint Commission hospital without monitoring
• Active California License
• Residency requirements/ Fellowship (IM/FP/OB-GYN)
• BLS, DEA, NRP/PALS certifications (highly preferred) required during credentialing
• Clean malpractice/background for credentialing - Highly Preferred
• Local candidates no flights - Highly Preferred
• A Self-Query NPDB report (must be dated within 30 days)
