LHH is partnering with one of the largest insurance providers on a search for an Investment Tax Manager role that can sit out of Boston OR New York. In this role you will be responsible for provisions and will partner with Senior leadership to manage day-to-day operations across investment tax portfolio, spanning provisions, compliance and deferred tax processes. You will be able to develop leadership capabilities and drive meaningful process improvements. This is a direct hire job that is offering a salary between $115K - $152K + bonus. Here are some more details about this role:
RESPONSIBILITIES- Drive day-to-day execution of tax provision (ASC 740), compliance, and deferred tax reconciliation processes across all investment asset classes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
- Providing technical investments tax guidance to the team, mentorship as well as detecting integrity issues and finding resolutions
- Coordinate priorities on fixed income, partnerships, derivatives and real estate portfolios
- Partner with external auditors, identify process improvement opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS- CPA or certification in process required
- 7+ Years of tax exp from a public accounting firm or financial services
- 5+ years of Income Tax (ASC740) provision exp
