Job Description

We are looking to add a Staff Accountant for a growing company in the Grand Prairie area. This position is open due to growth. The ideal candidate for this job will have at least 2-3 years of accounting experience. This company has an upbeat and exciting work culture that is very enjoyable. This position pays 70K-80K. This role offers a hybrid work schedule on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain balance sheet schedules and prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  • Preparation and entry of monthly journal entries for close out purposes
  • Review and reconcile accrued liabilities such as property taxes and operating expenses
  • Preparation of full work-paper package to be reviewed by Senior Accountants
  • Timely and accurate posting of all cash entries
  • Review profit and loss statements at month end to validate all items are coded correctly
  • Maintain and coordinate accounting control procedures
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years' experience in accounting

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
