We are seeking an experienced Electro Mechanical Assembler to join their production team. This role is responsible for assembling, fitting, and testing electromechanical equipment and precision components. The ideal candidate has strong hands on assembly experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment. This is a 1st shift opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electronic components and subassemblies using work orders, production drawings, sample assemblies, and verbal instructions.
- Build and test a wide range of precision mechanical and electronic assemblies using crimpers, small hand tools, and soldering equipment.
- Perform assembly tasks requiring microscope use.
- Provide manufacturability feedback to improve product reliability and reduce production costs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area; perform housekeeping duties after task completion.
- Follow established methods and sequences for wiring, component installation, stuffing, and other assembly operations.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and wire lists in English.
- Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience assembling electro mechanical assemblies.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- J STD 001 Certification preferred.
- Knowledge of IPC soldering and crimping standards is a plus.
- Strong dexterity and proficiency with hand tools and soldering equipment.
- Ability to distinguish colors and perform detailed work under a microscope.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to occasionally work extended hours.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow written instructions in English
