As a Deputy Sheriff, you may:Supervise and ensure the safety of inmatesProcess and classify inmates entering the jailMaintain order and security in courtrooms as a bailiffTransport inmates securely and professionallyServe civil process and court ordersConduct searches and inspections to maintain facility securityMonitor jail operations through control systems and camerasAssist with emergency response, first aid, and CPRParticipate in community outreach and public safety programsSupport fellow deputies and staff during critical incidents You'll rotate through assignments including jail operations, court services, civil process, and special duties-giving you broad experience and room to grow.
