Job Description

Adelphi seeks an experienced Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to deliver on-site ultrasound services at an outpatient facility in Cameron County, Texas. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skill, clinical judgment, and professional conduct to perform accurate diagnostic exams in a busy clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform scheduled diagnostic ultrasound studies including AAA, carotid, renal, liver, aorta/IVC/iliac duplex, upper/lower extremity arterial and venous Dopplers, and other vascular exams.
• Complete general ultrasound exams: abdominal, bladder, renal, pelvic (including transvaginal non-OB), scrotal, breast, thyroid/parathyroid/parotid, and extremity soft tissue.
• Perform 2D echocardiograms and vascular Doppler studies as assigned.
• Operate GE Logiq P6 and GE Vivid T8 systems safely and accurately.
• Review images for technical quality and document/report pertinent findings for physician interpretation.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, privacy, and adherence to infection control and equipment disinfection protocols.
• Report equipment or procedural concerns to supervisory staff and complete required documentation timely and accurately.
• Maintain professional conduct and comply with facility, clinical, regulatory, and HIPAA requirements.
• Complete any required training prior to providing services and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
• Active, good-standing registration with ARDMS and current credentials: RDMS, RDCS, and RVT.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant sonography experience, including vascular Doppler and 2D echocardiography.
• Experience with GE Logiq P6 and GE Vivid T8 equipment.
• Current American Heart Association CPR certification.
• Ability to complete credentialing, background check, required training, and provide compliance/professional liability documentation prior to start.
• Must maintain all required certifications and registrations throughout the assignment and comply with facility-specific policies.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to work onsite in Cameron County, Texas.
