A leading hospital system is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a 6-month locum assignment with an immediate start.
Schedule
- 3 x 13-hour shifts weekly
- Days or nights
- Weekend rotation required
- Flexible scheduling
Clinical Duties
- High-acuity CTICU coverage
- Arterial line placement
- Central line placement
- Swan-Ganz catheter placement
- Chest tube removals
- Balloon pump removal
- Code response and open chest management
- Collaboration with Intensivists and multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications
- NP or PA with Cardiothoracic Surgery experience
- Active New York License (Required)
- ACLS & BLS
- COVID vaccinated
- Experience managing critically ill cardiothoracic patients
