This role is responsible for leading the Accounts Payable processes Globally.
Direct the day-to-day shared services Accounts Payable process Globally
Ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
Serve as the senior escalation point to resolve Accounts Payable service delivery issues
Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities to eliminate exceptions and deliver to committed service levels
Coach direct reports and 3rd party service providers to address more complex issues/exceptions
Manage the delivery of service and automation efficiencies from outsourced partners in line with agreed Service Level Agreements
Ensure processes are in place which cater to current state initiatives or requirements.
Partner with finance leadership to ensure excellent communication and feedback mechanisms exist for customers
Define and sustain Service Level agreements
Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure Accounts Payable services are aligned with business objectives
Direct Accounts Payable activities to ensure they align with legal, country and business unit requirements.
Promote an understanding of approved process standards
Document and drive standardization of Accounts Payable processes
Sustain a close relationship with Strategic Sourcing to deliver process excellence across the Accounts Payable operations
Partner with Technology & Procurement in the execution of applicable Accounts Payable system and process harmonization
Ensure integrity of internal controls
Support statutory compliance including preparation for internal and external audits
Provide oversight and support for responses to and remediation of audit findings, as required
Provide oversight and drive timely remediation of any identified unintended issues attributable to current system design, settings or processes.
Manage Accounts Payable team to ensure that the team has the required resources and competencies to deliver the current and future Accounts Payable requirements
Ensure team receives the appropriate training and development to deliver effectively in their roles
Ensure development of appropriate competencies and resource availability to meet the changing shared service operation needs
We expect the salary to start at $130k. The actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience.
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or similar field preferred
CPA or CPA Candidate preferred
5+ years' experience in Shared Services processes
2+ years of management experience in Shared Services processes
Payables experience preferred
Proven ability to build relationships and networks with multiple functions and at the leadership levels
Extensive knowledge of PO and invoice processing in a high-volume environment
Experience with Oracle iProcurement & Oracle AP highly desirable
Large Scale Project implementation experience
Proven ability to successfully develop and lead teams
Comprehensive understanding of PO & AP processes and Accounts Payable technologies
