Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

Our practice is structured to offer a balanced mix of outpatient care and consultative services, ensuring a varied and engaging workload. The facility is a Level I trauma center, providing a robust environment for professional growth and patient care excellence. Onsite resources include a dedicated infusion center and access to clinical trials. The practice is supported by over 650 physicians and 500 advanced practice providers, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

Schedule and Assignment Details

Physicians will enjoy a predictable Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with call duties shared on a 1:2 basis. The call responsibilities are limited, primarily requiring consultative input, as a team of hospitalists manages patient admissions. The role is focused on adult outpatient care, with a typical patient volume of 15-22 per day, allowing for a balance of new patient consultations and follow-ups.

Support and Work Environment

Benefit from a comprehensive support system including midlevel providers, nursing staff, and ancillary services such as pelvic physical therapy and cancer nutrition counseling. The practice environment is highly collegial, with opportunities for academic involvement, such as teaching medical students, if desired. Our electronic medical records are managed via EPIC, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN and Gynecologic Oncology.
  • Fellowship-trained in Gynecological Oncology.
  • Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain one.
  • DEA certification required prior to start.
  • Clean malpractice history preferred.
  • Commitment to permanent placement; not accepting locum tenens candidates.
