Godwin Marine is looking for a dependable Welding Assistant / Fabrication Helper to assist with marine welding and fabrication projects.
The right person must be reliable, willing to work, and able to safely use common power tools and saws.
Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
Must be comfortable using power tools, grinders, saws, and basic fabrication tools.
Must understand basic angle cuts for fitting and fabrication work.
Must be able to follow directions and work safely on job sites.
Marine, welding, fabrication, or construction experience is a plus.
This is a 1099 contractor position starting at $15-$25 per hour (based on experience), with room to grow based on skill, reliability, and experience.
