HiFyve is hiring a Production Supervisor in the Food & Beverage Manufacturing industry in Richmond, IN!

Salary: $68,000-$78,000/year + 5% Bonus

Shift: Nights (6:00 PM-6:00 AM or 7:00 PM-7:00 AM)

Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotation

Location: Richmond, IN

About the Role

Join a growing food and beverage manufacturing facility as a Production Supervisor responsible for leading hourly production employees on an overnight shift. This role focuses on driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee development while ensuring production goals are achieved in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and support production employees to achieve daily safety, quality, and production objectives
Coordinate daily staffing assignments and workflow to maximize operational efficiency
Oversee manufacturing processes including receiving, processing, mixing, filling, packaging, storage, and related production activities
Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance support when issues arise to minimize downtime
Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with company policies, conducting incident investigations, and supporting safety initiatives
Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, sanitation, and quality standards throughout the production process
Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand while ensuring materials and packaging are available for scheduled production
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives
Partner with Human Resources and plant leadership on employee relations, coaching, performance management, and corrective actions
Conduct shift meetings and maintain clear communication with production teams regarding priorities and operational updates
Complete supervisory responsibilities including timekeeping review, performance evaluations, employee development, promotions, and training
Maintain compliance with all company policies and applicable health, safety, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably within food or beverage production
Previous leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of manufacturing operations, production workflows, and continuous improvement principles
Experience with Microsoft Office and manufacturing software systems
Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and team-building skills
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced production environment
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
