Compensation: $60k to $70k (Based on experience) Full-time

Join our dynamic team at Quadrant Health Group in West Islip, New York! We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys analyzing financial data, maintaining accurate financial records, and contributing to the organization's financial success. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing month-end and year-end closing activities, performing account reconciliations, supporting budgeting and audit processes, and collaborating with leadership to ensure sound financial reporting, compliance, and continuous process improvement. This is an on-site position based in West Islip, NY

What You'll Do:

Major Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements

  • Perform general ledger reconciliations and journal entries

  • Manage month-end and year-end closing activities

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and financial reports

  • Assist with budgeting and financial analysis

  • Participate in internal audits and compliance activities

  • Identify process improvements and support financial controls

  • Collaborate with leadership on accounting and financial initiatives



What You'll Bring:

Skills, Knowledge and Competencies Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)

  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience

  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel

  • Experience analyzing financial statements

  • Experience participating in internal audit committees

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
