Defense Painter Aerospace and Vehicle Defense Parts Painter 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6AM-3:30PM & Friday 6AM-10AM 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30AM-1AM & Friday 11AM-2PM Location: 2700 S Custer Ave, Wichita, KS 67217 Responsibilities: Mix ratios for a variety of paint Operate, use and clean a spray gun, HVLP and pressure pot Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking Apply paint using various techniques, including spray guns, and brushes Ensure that all painted products meet quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and guidelines Assist with other tasks as needed At times, work in temperatures over 90 degrees Fast-paced work environment Dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with environmental laws and company regulations Requirements: Prior experience in painting or a related field preferred Knowledge of painting techniques and tools Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed Pay is based on prior related experience in this field - paid hourly All offers of employment at Leading Technology Composites are contingent upon the successful completion of a comprehensive background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
