Now Hiring - Maintenance Manager
ASF is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance operations within our manufacturing facility in Pendergrass, GA.
This role is an opportunity to make a significant impact by driving continuous improvement, overseeing preventive maintenance programs, leading a skilled maintenance team, and partnering with leadership to achieve plant-wide performance goals.
What You'll Do
As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and effectiveness of the maintenance department, including:
Leading all day-to-day maintenance operations
Prioritizing and delegating work assignments to maintenance technicians
Managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability
Tracking equipment history, downtime, repair costs, and maintenance performance metrics
Developing and presenting detailed maintenance reports to leadership
Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and uptime
Ensuring OSHA compliance and promoting a strong culture of workplace safety
Responsible for all subordinate needs: training, coaching, performance management, and workforce planning.
Utilizing and improving CMMS systems for work order management and maintenance planning
Assisting with machinery specification, procurement, installation, and startup activities
Supporting capital projects from design and quoting through installation and implementation
Ensuring equipment installations meet manufacturer specifications
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve production and operational goals
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting expertise
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively lead teams and collaborate with all levels of the organization
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings and equipment manuals
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with extrusion equipment
Experience developing and implementing new maintenance processes and systems
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and OSHA standards
Experience with PPAP processes
Experience & Education
Required:
Minimum 2 years of experience managing maintenance programs in a manufacturing environment
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
Equivalent combination of education and related experience will be considered
Location: On-site in Pendergrass, GA
Schedule: 1st Shift 40 Hours per Week (Off-Shift Support as Needed)
Reports To: Plant Manager
