Job Description

This role is an excellent fit for a purchasing professional with experience in electronics manufacturing, responsible for managing supplier relationships, sourcing electronic components and PCBs, and driving material planning through MRP/ERP systems. The position offers the opportunity to lead strategic sourcing, cost reduction, inventory optimization, and NPI initiatives while making a direct impact on a growing manufacturing organization's operational performance and supply chain strategy. Client Details Our client is a well-established electronics manufacturing company that partners with customers across highly regulated industries, providing end-to-end manufacturing solutions from new product introduction through full-scale production. Description Responsibilities: Manage assigned commodities and supplier relationships. Plan and procure materials using MRP/ERP systems. Negotiate pricing, lead times, and cost reduction initiatives. Support NPI launches and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). Resolve supplier, quality, and material discrepancies. Drive inventory optimization and alternate sourcing strategies. Monitor purchasing metrics and maintain accurate reporting. Profile Ideal Candidate: 8+ years of purchasing experience in electronics manufacturing or EMS. Experience sourcing electronic components and PCBs/bare boards. Strong background with MRP/ERP systems (Syteline preferred). Skilled in supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and inventory management. Bachelor's degree required; APICS/CPIM certification is a plus.
