Field Service Technician Location: Essex Junction, VT
Pay Range: $70,000-$90,000 + OT, based on experience

What You'll Do As a Field Service Technician, you will:
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot nitrogen-producing plants at customer sites
- Perform routine maintenance and calibrations on compressors, gas analyzers, control systems, and related equipment
- Diagnose field issues and complete repairs with minimal supervision
- Communicate clearly with customers and provide technical support as needed
- Maintain safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Coordinate contractors, resources, audits, and site-related administrative tasks
- Plan and prioritize work to keep plant operations running smoothly
What We're Looking For Qualified candidates will ideally have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in a technical field preferred
- 2-5 years of operations, maintenance, field service, process control, or related industrial experience
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience
- Experience with compressors, instrumentation, control systems, or industrial equipment
- Strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures
- Ability to read or understand process control schematics
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft applications
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Military engineering or technical experience is a plus.
Physical & Schedule Requirements This role may require:
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
- Climbing, working at heights, and entering confined spaces
- Driving a service truck
- Working in a mix of field, plant, office, and customer-site environments
- Flexibility for extended hours, weekends, holidays, and call-in coverage when needed
