Job Description: Job Description Commercial HVAC Service Technician Commercial HVAC Service Technician - Indianapolis, IN Perfection Group is hiring skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technicians to join our Indianapolis team. We're looking for experienced technicians who take pride in solving problems, communicating well with customers, and delivering safe, high-quality work. You'll service a variety of commercial and industrial HVAC systems while receiving paid drive time, additional on-call compensation, a company vehicle, major tools, and continued training and support. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified You'll DoTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, split systems, and heat pumpsDiagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and controls-related issuesIdentify necessary repairs, obtain replacement parts, and calibrate equipment according to manufacturer recommendationsExplain equipment conditions, recommended solutions, and next steps clearly to customersPerform scheduled preventive maintenance to keep systems operating safely and efficientlyTravel to customer locations throughout the Indianapolis service areaCoordinate with dispatch and communicate schedule changes or delays promptlyDocument service calls and resolutions accurately using company software and applicationsParticipate in a rotating emergency on-call schedule, including nights and weekendsMaintain a clean, safe work area, company vehicle, and assigned equipmentParticipate in company- and vendor-provided trainingYou May Be a Great Fit If YouHave two to five years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experienceUnderstand commercial HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical systemsAre comfortable troubleshooting chillers, boilers, rooftop units, split systems, and heat pumpsDiagnose problems accurately and develop practical, effective solutionsCommunicate clearly and professionally with customers, dispatch, leadership, and teammatesWork independently while staying connected and accountable to the teamTake ownership of your schedule, documentation, vehicle, tools, and customer commitmentsTake pride in completing safe, accurate, high-quality workRemain calm and dependable when responding to urgent customer needsHold a Universal EPA Section 608 certificationHave a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's licenseAbout Perfection Group We believe a well-managed facility can transform our world.
