An established, employee-owned engineering and consulting firm is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead and grow a Construction Materials Testing (CMT), Geotechnical, and Special Inspections operation. Overview
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of a Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspections branch.
  • Drive business development efforts by expanding existing client relationships and cultivating new opportunities with architects, engineers, developers, contractors, healthcare systems, educational institutions, and public agencies.
  • Manage branch financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, staffing, and overall P&L responsibility.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, project managers, inspectors, technicians, and support staff.
  • Ensure technical excellence, quality control, and compliance across all projects.
  • Work closely with clients to deliver exceptional service while identifying opportunities for long-term partnerships.
  • Help shape strategic growth initiatives for the branch and surrounding market.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in Construction Materials Testing (CMT), Geotechnical Engineering, Special Inspections, or a related engineering field.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and branch or business operations.
  • Strong background in business development and client relationship management.
  • Experience managing budgets, staffing, and financial performance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred (multi-state licensure is a plus).
