Job description:
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Provide effective legal counsel in the defense of civil disputes in South Carolina.
  • Handle diverse and challenging cases for retail and hospitality clients.
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
  • Develop and implement litigation strategies aligned with client goals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
  • Contribute to the growth of the firm and expansion of its presence throughout South Carolina.
  • Write reports and develop budgets.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the South Carolina Bar.
  • Admission to the Federal District Court of South Carolina (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of civil defense experience with a demonstrated track record defending civil matters.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
  • Civil Defense Experience.

Salary Max : $ 110000
