A reputable and growing Massachusetts-based general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead a major wastewater infrastructure project in the South Shore region. Description Lead all day-to-day field operations on an active wastewater infrastructure project in New Bedford, MA Manage project schedules, subcontractors, vendors, and self-perform crews Coordinate underground utility installation activities, including deep excavation work Maintain a safe and productive jobsite while enforcing company safety standards Collaborate with project management teams to ensure cost, quality, and schedule objectives are achieved Conduct regular meetings with field personnel, subcontractors, and project stakeholders Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve field issues Oversee project documentation, inspections, and compliance requirements Profile A successful Superintendent - Water/Wastewater should have: Proven experience as a Lead Superintendent running projects independently Strong background in site work and underground utility construction (required) Experience managing deep excavation projects, including work approximately 25 feet below grade Wastewater, pump station, or water infrastructure experience preferred Ability to lead field teams, coordinate multiple trades, and drive project schedules Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Valid driver's license and ability to commute to New Bedford, MA Willingness to support projects primarily throughout the South Shore region following completion of the current assignment Job Offer Base salary: $125,000 - $165,000 Performance-based bonus opportunity Medical, dental, and vision coverage with 75% employer-paid premiums 100% employer-paid deductible coverage 15 days PTO, increasing to 20 days after 5 years of service 401(k) with 2% company contribution plus 3% safe harbor match (5% total company contribution) Daily lunch provided Long-term career growth with a stable and expanding organization MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
