Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Residential Electrical Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing electrical systems and components in residential homes and take pride in quality workmanship. This role is focused primarily on residential electrical installations, upgrades, and large projects.

The successful candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently while following safety standards and electrical codes. Strong communication and teamwork skills are important for working with homeowners, team members, and other trades.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform residential electrical installations, including wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, panels, and other electrical components.
  • Install electrical systems for residential homes, remodels, upgrades, and replacement projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Run and terminate wiring and properly install electrical devices and equipment.
  • Ensure all installations are completed safely and in compliance with applicable electrical codes.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper operation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly care for company tools and equipment.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members regarding project progress and installation needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other installers, technicians, and project team members to complete jobs efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials used and complete work.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of residential electrical installation experience preferred.
  • Electrical apprenticeship experience is a plus.
  • Licensed Wireman or Journeyman Electrician preferred.
  • Strong understanding of residential electrical systems and installation practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, and schematics.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Work Environment

Work in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust.
