Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a talented mid-senior level Associate Attorney to join their Business Litigation Practice in Washington DC (link removed) This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level litigator to work on complex, high-exposure trial matters with a collaborative and dynamic litigation team.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, in good standing.
- Law Review or Clerkship experience is a plus.
- 4+ years of substantive commercial, business litigation experience.
- Experience with federal court litigation is also a plus.
- Demonstrated stand-up experience, including taking and defending depositions and courtroom advocacy
- Proven legal research, writing, and analytical capabilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Highly motivated and driven, with a strong commitment to exceptional client service and effective teamwork
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and assist with high-stakes business litigation matters across industries
- Conduct discovery, including taking and defending depositions
- Draft and argue motions and briefs in state and federal courts
- Participate in trial preparation, hearings, and courtroom proceedings
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and litigation teams to develop case strategies
- Communicate effectively with clients, co-counsel, and internal teams

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $195,000-$200,000, as determined by experience and market factors
