At Jetson, we value people who are excellent at their craft, curious about new tools (including AI), and motivated to continuously improve how work gets done.The Opportunity As a Lead Installer at Jetson, you're the person the crew looks to the one who sets the standard on the job site, brings newer techs along, and makes sure every install we hand off to a homeowner is something we're proud of. You've got deep residential install experience, you know heat pump systems inside and out (or you're fired up to make them your primary focus), and you're the kind of person who speaks up when something's off and finds a better way when one exists. You'll be one of the first installers in our new market, which means you'll have a real hand in shaping how we build and run the operation not just executing someone else's playbook. If that sounds like the kind of role you've been looking for, we'd love to talk.What You'll Do:Complete full heat pump system installs from start to finish, including removing existing gas furnaces and AC equipment and leaving every space clean and readyExecute refrigerant recovery, system evacuation, and proper charging with care and precisionRead and work from blueprints and wiring diagrams to install accurately and troubleshoot confidentlyStay current on local building codes and make sure every job is compliant before wrap-upGuide and support less experienced installers on the crew dividing responsibilities clearly, catching issues early, and bringing people up to speed on Jetson equipment and proceduresHold the quality bar high whether working solo or alongside your team and speak up when something isn't right, regardless of who installed itDeliver a standout customer experience communicate clearly with homeowners throughout the job, answer their questions, and leave them feeling confident in what they just had installedCollaborate with fellow installers and our engineering team to surface better ways of doing things and help us continuously improve our processHelp build out the new market operation from the ground up your input matters hereWhat You Bring:Extensive hands-on residential HVAC install experience, including working in attics, crawlspaces, and physically demanding environmentsProven experience leading an install crew you know how to divide work, keep a job on track, and hold the team accountableExperience training or mentoring junior technicians on the job siteEPA Section 608 Certification (required)Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematicsStrong working knowledge of local building codes and compliance requirementsSolid refrigerant handling skills recovery, evacuation, and charging done rightA sharp eye for quality and a low tolerance for cutting cornersClear, professional communication with both homeowners and teammatesA problem-solving mindset when installs don't go as plannedExperience with heat pumps or mini-splits is a strong plus we'll invest in growing that expertise if you're eager to make it your focusPhysical stamina to handle heavy equipment and work across varied conditionsFollows OSHA Electrical StandardFollows the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) standard Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Pay: $37 - $48 per hour Relocation Allowance: Up to $5,000 if moving from out of stateBenefits: Dental Care, Vision Care & Life Insurance premiums fully paid by Jetson Health Insurance premium 85% paid by Jetson Education Support Parental Leave Top Up Tools Provided Uniform Provided Lunch Provided 401k program Work Location: In Person - Centennial, CO Check out our You Tube Video: Do you feel like you don't have everything that's listed above but can still do the job?
