Job Description We are seeking an experienced and dependable Custodial Supervisor to overseedaily cleaning operations and lead a team of custodial staff. The idealcandidate will ensure that facilities are clean, safe, sanitary, andmaintained according to company standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of custodial staff.
- Assign cleaning duties and monitor staff performance.
- Inspect assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
- Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and company policies.
- Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
- Address cleaning issues and respond to requests from management.
- Ensure staff follow all health, safety, and sanitation requirements.
- Maintain accurate attendance and staffing records as required.
- Assist with custodial duties when needed to maintain facility standards.
- Report maintenance, safety, or facility concerns to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous custodial, housekeeping, janitorial, or facilities experience required.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to train, motivate, and manage a team.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, or holidays when required.
