Job Description: Job Description Maintenance Technician POSITION TITLE: Maintenance Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM, 4 days a week with a rotating schedule (Monday - Thursday / Tuesday - Friday). Salary: $27.00-$29.00 plus $1.75 shift differential Position Summary We're looking for a hands-on, dependable Maintenance professional who takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. In this role, you'll play a key part in installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and facility systems within our manufacturing environment. Your work will directly support safety, efficiency, and overall production success. What You'll Do As part of our maintenance team, you will:Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performanceIdentify and resolve mechanical issues by observing equipment operation and collaborating with team membersDisassemble and rebuild equipment, replacing or repairing components as neededPerform routine maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery partsSupport upkeep of the facility, including building structures and systemsOperate tools such as cutting torches or welding equipment when neededPartner with production teams to reduce downtime and improve processesFollow and support all plant safety procedures and emergency protocolsMaintain accurate records of parts, supplies, and maintenance activitiesConduct routine inspections of plant equipment and systemsManage preventative maintenance programs and inventory of replacement partsWork with external contractors and maintain vendor relationshipsSupport occasional off-shift or on-call maintenance needs Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs. What We're Looking For Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED2-4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with maintenance tools, gauges, and measuring devicesStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Preferred (Nice to Have)Experience in paper converting or similar operationsProject coordination or maintenance leadership experience Skills That Set You ApartStrong attention to safety and adherence to proceduresAbility to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlinesCost-conscious mindset with an eye for efficiency improvementsDependable attendance and teamworkAbility to analyze problems, interpret technical information, and implement solutions CertificationsForklift Certification (or willingness to obtain) Physical Requirements This active, hands-on role requires regular standing, walking, bending, and use of tools.
