Job Description: Job Description Join Our Team Willow Tree Poultry Farm is seeking a hands-on Sanitation Supervisor - 2nd Shift to lead our sanitation team and uphold the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence throughout our facility. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys leading a team, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe operation. What You'll DoSupervise all 2nd shift sanitation staff and activitiesWorking supervisor who oversees the cleaning and sanitizing of the production facility and equipmentValidate that work areas and equipment have been properly cleaned and sanitized using ATP testing - not just visual inspection - before release for productionConduct and coordinate the end-of-shift pre-operational (pre-op) inspection; do not release equipment or production lines for next-day startup until they passMix, apply, and verify sanitation chemical concentrations correctly (titration/test strips), follow Safety Data Sheet (SDS) requirements, and enforce proper PPE useEnsure accurate, legible, real-time completion of SSOP records, daily sanitation checklists, and ATP logs, and execute the periodic deep-clean tasks on the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS)Ensure sanitation schedules align with production needsTrain and coach sanitation employees through hands-on leadershipMonitor labor hours and approve employee time recordsEnsure compliance with food safety, GMP, and company sanitation standardsTroubleshoot sanitation, equipment, and staffing issuesCommunicate about equipment, maintenance, and supply needs to managementAssign staff appropriately to ensure quality and efficiency Partner with Quality Control and Production teams to support plant operations What You Bring2-3+ years of sanitation, manufacturing, or leadership experience preferredStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work hands-on in a production environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to food safetyUnderstanding of cleaning validation versus cleaning itself; experience using an ATP testing device (luminometer) to verify sanitation is a plusAbility to prioritize tasks and solve problems quicklyHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCFS and OSHA 10 certifications preferredKnowledge of lockout/tagout (LOTO) and safe equipment disassembly and reassemblyFamiliarity with environmental monitoring, zone-based cleaning, and responding to presumptive Listeria positives in a ready-to-eat (RTE) environment preferredMultilingual skills are a plus Physical & Work EnvironmentWork in refrigerated production environments for extended periodsAbility to lift 50+ lbs regularlyComfortable standing, walking, climbing, and operating equipmentAbility to safely operate tools, forklifts, and sanitation equipment Schedule & ExpectationsFull-time, 2nd Shift3:00 PM until finish8-10-hour shifts, 5-6 days per weekOccasional Saturdays and on-call coverage may be requiredStrong attendance and reliability are essential Why You'll Love Working HereStable, growing family-owned companyTeam-oriented environment with hands-on leadershipOpportunity to make a direct impact on food safety and operations Competitive pay and leadership opportunity Apply Today - if you're ready to lead a sanitation team and help maintain a safe, efficient, and high-quality production environment, we'd love to hear from you.
