An established national design-build general contractor is seeking Traveling Superintendents to support retail construction projects across the Southeast, Midwest, and Northeast regions. This role offers the opportunity to lead ground-up, remodel, expansion, and open-store renovation projects for nationally recognized retail clients while working with a stable leadership team committed to growth and employee development. Client Details This contractor has been successfully delivering projects for decades and maintains a diverse portfolio spanning retail, healthcare, industrial, hospitality, multifamily, office, institutional, and senior living sectors. Description Manage day-to-day field operations from project start through closeout Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel Maintain project schedules and ensure milestone achievement Lead site safety efforts and enforce quality standards Communicate effectively with project managers, owners, and stakeholders Oversee budget-conscious execution while maintaining client satisfaction Support projects ranging from small remodels to large ground-up developments Profile Experience serving as a Superintendent on retail construction projects Background with big-box retail, store remodels, expansions, renovations, or ground-up construction Experience managing projects typically ranging from $3M to $10M+ Strong scheduling, subcontractor management, and leadership skills Willingness to travel within a designated region Experience working with nationally recognized retail clients is highly preferred Job Offer Base Salary: $115,000 - $155,000+ Profit Sharing Program 100% Employer-Paid Healthcare Coverage Vehicle Allowance Daily Per Diem (project-dependent) Dental & Vision Coverage 401(k) Long-term career advancement opportunities MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
