The role focuses on supporting litigation matters for corporate clients, handling discovery and motion practice, and collaborating closely with partners and senior associates to develop case strategy and achieve favorable outcomes. The ideal candidate will be a practicing attorney or associate with demonstrated experience in commercial litigation and strong analytic, writing, and advocacy skills. Experience handling transportation-related matters is a plus.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and respond to all phases of commercial litigation matters including pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial and revise legal documents including complaints, answers, briefs, memoranda, and settlement agreements.Conduct factual and legal research; analyze case law and statutory authority to support litigation with partners and senior associates to develop case strategy, prepare for hearings, depositions, and trials, and manage client and mentor junior associates, paralegals, and support staff on case tasks and document production.Coordinate with experts, fact witnesses, and vendors; review and organize evidence and exhibits.Maintain case files, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with court rules and firm procedures.Support business development efforts by contributing to pitch materials, client presentations, and thought leadership on commercial litigation topics. QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.3+ years of experience as an Associate or Attorney with a focus on commercial litigation experience with drafting motions, conducting discovery, and supporting trial legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, with strong attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Strong client-service orientation and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.Experience in transportation, logistics, or related industry matters is desirable but not required.Familiarity with e-discovery tools, document management systems, and court filing procedures is preferred. - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
