Welder

Key Responsibilities

• Operate single-head and multi-head spot welding equipment.
• Perform TIG and MIG welding.
• Set up welding machines according to project specifications.
• Inspect and test welds for quality, strength, and accuracy.
• Clean and maintain welding equipment and tips.
• Handle materials and use hand tools as needed.
• Complete paperwork and data entry accurately.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of steel fabrication and welding experience.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of welding processes and steel fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Familiarity with hand tools and machinery.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 lbs.

Physical & Work Environment

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and stooping.
• Requires good manual dexterity and vision.
• Shop environment with varying temperatures, noise, dust, and dirt.

A welder with MIG and TIG experience, blueprint-reading skills, steel fabrication knowledge, and a strong commitment to quality and safety in a manufacturing environment.
