As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join us in crafting high-quality refractory steel forms and structural assemblies.
Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator with strong technical capabilities and a solid work ethic. In this role, you will fabricate steel forms and custom assemblies to tight tolerances, working directly from engineering drawings, blueprints, and templates. You will join a collaborative, high-performing team that values precision, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

  • Fabrication & Assembly: Fabricate precision steel molds, forms, and frames for castable refractory products.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read, interpret, and work accurately from blueprints, shop drawings, and templates.
  • Welding: Execute high-quality MIG welds (and occasional stick welding) on structural 1/4"+ A36 steel, rebar, and custom anchors.
  • Tool Operation: Safely operate cutting, grinding, and forming equipment, including acetylene torches, band saws, hand grinders, and rolling machines.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect completed welds and conduct final fit-up checks to ensure adherence to strict quality standards.
  • Shop Support & Fabrication: Assist with custom fabrication projects, jig creation, and continuous shop improvements.
  • Safety & Workplace Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications

  • 2+ years of structural welding and fabrication experience preferred (willing to train candidates with strong foundational skills).
  • High proficiency in MIG welding required; stick welding skills are a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and utilize precision measuring tools.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and consistently meet production deadlines.
  • Physical capability to lift 40+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical shop labor.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license.
