Snelling is searching for a Certified Welder for a well-established company in the Helena, AL area. The pay rate for this position is $20.00-24.00/hr, and it is a 1st shift position, Monday-Thursday-10/hr days.
Certified Welder Job Duties:
Work with an amazing team in a fast paced and fun atmosphere
Be able to gain overtime hours rather quickly
Be a part of a stable company who is looking for people to grow and excel with them
Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project
Sourcing the materials to be used in the project
Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints
Accurately measure within specified tolerance.
Read and interpret engineered blueprint.
Will set up and change settings as needed
Follow rules and practices of safety.
Maintain and complete all required records and production documentation.
Operate overhead crane as needed
Certified Welder Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Welding ( MIG, TIG, stick)
Need to be able to read and understand blueprints/drawings - will be tested in interview
Must have reliable transportation- Attendance is key to this company
Must be able to pass a simple weld test
