Greenfield Apartments is seeking a professional Full-time Maintenance Tech 1 to join their team in Hopkins, MN. The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure property operations, resident safety, and overall community satisfaction. This role supports daily maintenance operations, assists with apartment turns, and works under general supervision while following established procedures and safety standards. Working Hours: Typically, FT40, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Property office hours may vary from property to property. You may be asked to flex your schedule to meet the demands of the business. Benefits: Health, Flexible Spending Account, Dental, Vision, Life, ADD, LTD, STD, Critical Illness, Accident, and 401(K). 9 Paid Holidays Generous PTO accruals Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repair OperationsPerform general property maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, lighting, locks, and general building systemsRespond to maintenance requests from residents and property management staffAssist with apartment turns to ensure move-in readiness and quality standardsPerform preventive maintenance in accordance with established schedules and guidelinesConduct exterior maintenance, including roofs, parking areas, garages, pools, and recreational areas (as applicable)Support grounds maintenance activities, including snow removal and trash pickup Safety, Compliance & CoordinationFollow all company, local, state, and federal safety policies and proceduresCoordinate inspections with fire, police, utility, or regulatory inspectors as neededMaintain a safe work environment and report hazards or concerns promptly Administrative & Support DutiesComplete required documentation and logs, including preventive maintenance and safety recordsMaintain equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and safe conditionMonitor and assist with maintenance supply inventory as directedSchedule or coordinate vendor services when assignedAttend staff meetings and required training sessionsMaintain confidentiality of resident and company informationProvide a high level of customer service to residents and coworkersRemain flexible and adaptable to changing operational needsPerform other maintenance duties and special projects as assigned Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred Working knowledge of general building systems Experience completing work orders independently Certifications preferred but not required Valid driver's license Key CompetenciesSolid maintenance troubleshooting Work order ownership Reliability and follow-through Safety awareness Customer service Requirements: Compensation details: 26-29 Hourly Wage PI189a6af5-
