Job Overview: As a Horizontal Construction Engineer, you Äôll operate heavy construction equipment like bulldozers, tractors, backhoes, cranes, excavators, and road graders to help pave the way for fellow Soldiers and to make room for construction projects. Without safe roads to travel, it Äôs hard for Soldiers to move around, especially in unfamiliar territory. You Äôll also assist Army engineers to analyze construction site needs and transport heavy construction equipment from one site to another.
Requirements- A U.S. Citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
- High School Diploma or GED
Testing & Certifications- 100 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available
- 10 weeks of Basic Training
- 9 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
- 85 ASVAB Score: General Maintenance (GM)
